Terms of Sales

The One Chauffeur Company provides transport services to individuals and professionals using chauffeur-driven passenger vehicles (VTC), exclusively by reservation and at a pre-defined price. To do this, it provides users with an online reservation tool via its website www.onechauffeur.fr. Its activity was authorized by the Ministry of Transport under the license .

Article 1 : Object

The purpose of these general conditions is to define the conditions applicable to transport service contracts concluded between One Chauffeur and its customers. Any order placed with the company One Chauffeur entails acceptance of the following conditions of sale which form an integral part of the transport contract signed between One Chauffeur and its customer. One Chauffeur is free to modify these general conditions of sale at any time, whatever the cause or reason.

Article 2: Reservation

Any reservation must be made by the customer or by a duly authorized agent. For any reservation, the customer must provide the following information:
• Customer information: first name, last name, telephone number and email address.
• Information about the journey: date and time of pick-up, departure and arrival locations, need for a booster seat, as well as the flight or train number if applicable.

Article 3: Prices

Our prices include tax, 10% VAT on all our services.

The prices indicated include the vehicle, the driver service, insurance for the people transported, fuel, kilometers and time determined when booking and/or when concluding the contract as well as the transport of the customer's luggage in the limit of the vehicle's capability. The cost of tolls, parking, places of parking or entry into any places chosen by the customer and/or made essential for the execution of the service not initially planned for the journey remain the responsibility of the customer.
The price given corresponds to a price per vehicle, regardless of the number of people.

Article 4: Change of reservation

Any modification of one or more essential elements of the reservation will result in its cancellation. One Chauffeur will make its best efforts to satisfy the modification request made by the customer.

Article 5: Cancellation and refund conditions

Any cancellation of reservation must be notified 24 hours before the start of the service. Failing this and for whatever reasons, no refund can be made.

Article 6 : Car hourly disposal

Any hourly disposal service must be subject to written reservation. It must be carried out by the customer or by a duly authorized agent. Any reservation must mention the place of performance of the service (itineraries), the duration, the number of passengers and the name and contact details of the beneficiary of the service if this is different from those of the customer.

Any cancellation of an hourly disposal service must be reported 48 hours before the start of the service. Failing this and for whatever reasons, it will be due, as a fixed and non-deductible fixed penalty equal to the amount initially planned at the time of booking.
The service is only valid once, and if it turns out that the customer was not present at the meeting place, the service would be definitively lost and will not give any right to reimbursement. Any waiting will be billed on the hourly basis mentioned in our rates for the category of the vehicle reserved.

Article 7: Modifications during service

Any modification of the route by the customer during the service and resulting in changes to the program may result in supplements to be paid on site or at the end of the service.

In the event of a modification of the route and/or its duration due solely to the wishes of the principal, the costs incurred will be the responsibility of the latter.

Article 8: Payments

For occasional customers, our services are payable upon reservation (online payment), on board the vehicle by credit card (payment by TPE) or in cash.

For account customers, invoices are payable upon receipt by bank transfer.

In all cases, the customer, signatory of the reservation, is solely responsible for payment of the service.

Article 9: Obligations and responsibilities of One Chauffeur

One Chauffeur undertakes to carry out or have carried out the transport services in accordance with the reservation details and in compliance with all regulations and legislation in force within the allotted time and in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions.

One Chauffeur undertakes to do what is necessary to take the passenger to their destination as quickly as possible and in optimal safety conditions in accordance with the Highway Code and the laws in force.

One Chauffeur cannot under any circumstances be held responsible for delays in transport times due to circumstances beyond its control: road blocked, bridge closed to traffic, diversion, flooded road, traffic jams, interventions on the road by police forces, customs or firefighters, etc. (without this list being exhaustive).

One Chauffeur cannot under any circumstances be held responsible for delays due to cases of "force majeure": strikes, weather conditions, attacks, riots, etc. (without this list being exhaustive).

One Chauffeur cannot under any circumstances be held responsible for delays directly resulting from an initial delay by a customer, or from the need to make a trip, at the customer's request, within a time period that is clearly too short.

In the event of immobilization of the vehicle during the journey due to mechanical failure, an accident or damage (theft, damage), One Chauffeur will endeavor to ensure the continuity of the journey, either with one of its vehicles, or with a vehicle chartered to another company and undertakes to notify the principal.

One Chauffeur is guaranteed by a reputably solvent insurance company which covers the risks linked to its activity in accordance with current regulations. In the event of subcontracting, One Chauffeur ensures that the people and companies it uses meet the same conditions.

Article 10: Obligations and responsibilities of the customer

The customer undertakes for himself and for the passengers for whom he has contracted with One Chauffeur to behave according to the following provisions:
• Compliance with the rules of the Highway Code (wearing a seat belt, car seat, booster seat, etc.);
• Ban on smoking, vaping and transporting dangerous materials;
• Respect for the driver’s vehicle;
• Respect for other passengers who may share the vehicle and the driver with you (overly personal questions, discretion in the use of the telephone, inappropriate language or gestures, discrimination, etc.).

Failure to comply with these conditions entails the exclusive liability of the customer and passengers both towards One Chauffeur and third parties. In the event of damage to the equipment or vehicle attributable to the customer or accompanying passengers, the latter will be held fully responsible and must reimburse One Chauffeur and/or the driver for the costs of repairing the vehicle or the damaged equipment.

One Chauffeur reserves the right to refuse pick-up, to disembark a passenger who does not respect these obligations and to terminate the customer's account.

The passenger is solely responsible for the objects and baggage in his custody. If forgotten in the vehicle, One Chauffeur cannot be held responsible.

Article 11: Collection of personal data

The One Chauffeur company is committed to respecting the privacy of its customers. The personal information and other data communicated will not be used for any purpose other than the execution of the requested service, as well as the improvement of the service provided and will under no circumstances be transmitted to third parties.
